From April through November, the Willingboro Astronomical Society conducts monthly Public Star Watches under the dark skies of the New Jersey Pinelands, mainly at Batsto Village, but also at Atsion and Franklin Parker Preserve. Besides viewing the sky with our telescopes, one of the highlights of each event happens before dark. Our Star Watch Director, Bernie Hosko (along with Peanut the wonder dog) presents "Cooking up a Comet," which is received with particular enthusiasm by our younger attendees.
