These are photos of meeting activities. We are a very informal club, as you can see, with many experienced members.

     
 
Bernie is probably the only member who makes his own optics - both mirrors and lenses. Here he is demonstrating how to build a pitch lap.   Bill builds his own telescopes. This is a "bent" refractor he frequently brings to star parties.
     
 
Blake has built a number of astronomical gizmos including a ponce platform and the binocular mount below.   Dave is an experienced telescope builder. Here he demonstrates a filar micrometer, used to measure angular distances.
     
 
Joan is a former teacher and here she reviews some current events.   Al is our resident expert on the solar system.
     
   
For once, they are all quiet and attentive.
